Are You a Transfer Student?
- If you are transferring from a school outside the Minnesota State System, you will need to submit an official college. transcript. Official transcripts can be emailed to transfer@nhcc.edu. For full mailing details, visit our Records and Registration Department page.
- E-transcripts from Minnesota State institutions are automatically received when you apply.
- Transcripts are evaluated for credit and prerequisite completion within two weeks (of the evaluation being sent via email).
Are you a former NHCC student?
- Fill out a Student Record Update Form instead of reapplying.
What you need

High school transcript or GED certificate if you graduated in last five years

Test scores, such as ACT, SAT, or ACCUPLACER test scores

Previous college transcripts (if applicable) *Required for nursing students and those using VA benefits
Important Dates
- Deadlines are for courses starting the first week of the semester. You can still apply for late-start courses after the application deadline.
- Summer Semester 2024 classes start May 20, 2024 and Fall Semester 2024 starts August 26,2024

- FAFSA: Opens October 1st for the following academic year. Submit ASAP.
- Minnesota Dream Act: Due the 30th day of the term
- Foundation Scholarships: Open February - May

- Note: Your orientation hold will not be lifted to allow for registration until you meet with an Academic Advisor.
