Get a head start! There are several ways high school students can earn college credit to get a head start on completing a degree, while saving on college costs. Review the options below, then schedule a meeting with your high school counselor or an NHCC admissions rep.
A Promising Formula For Success!
More high school students across the country are realizing the benefits of concurrent enrollment. Concurrent enrollment programs have an impressive track record of enrolling students in college, and graduating them.
Post Secondary Enrollment Options (PSEO)
The PSEO program allows high school sophomores, juniors and seniors the opportunity to earn college credit while working toward the completion of unmet high school graduation requirements.
Concurrent Enrollment
Students are able to take college-level courses offered in the high schools. These courses, taught by high school teachers who are mentored by NHCC faculty, allow students to earn college credit while still in high school.
