Students can call, email or stop by Career Services to schedule an appointment. Depending on your career related needs, you may be asked to complete specific activities (such as career assessments, resume draft, emailing the advisor with additional information) prior to the meeting.
Career Services staff can support you in your degree and career exploration, regardless of where you are in the process. Most students will complete the FOCUS career assessments prior to a career advising appointment.
NHCC uses the Handshake platform to connect students and employers for a variety of employment opportunities. Career Services can guide you on how to get the most out of Handshake, create a LinkedIn profile, and conduct a job search.
Career Services has created tools to help you be successful in resume writing. Download the Resume Writing Guide to get started with your first resume draft. Schedule a resume review appointment to edit your resume and create your final resume.
