The Early/Middle College Program at North Hennepin Community College allows students who are currently enrolled in a partnered Alternative Learning Center the opportunity to earn college credit toward a high school diploma and an associate degree.

North Hennepin Community College is currently approved to partner with Brooklyn Center Early College Academy, Robbinsdale-Highview Alternative Program, Osseo Area Learning Center, and Metro Heights Academy. Interested in partnering? Contact Katie Elsbernd.
Pathways
Students are able to complete courses in the following areas: Graphic Design, Business Computer Systems and Management, American Sign Language, and Liberal Arts. There are, however, restricted courses for all PSEO students. Please review this list prior to registering.
Eligibility
To be eligible, students must:
- Currently attend one of the approved ALC partnership schools
- Complete a program application, submit a current 3-part form, and official transcripts
- Take the Accuplacer test achieving a score of 236 or higher on the Next Gen Reading Test.
