Get a Head Start!

There are several ways high school students can earn college credit to get a head start on completing a degree, while saving on college costs. Review the options below, then schedule a meeting with your high school counselor or an NHCC admissions rep.

Post Secondary Enrollment Options (PSEO)

The PSEO program allows high school sophomores, juniors and seniors the opportunity to earn college credit while working toward the completion of high school graduation requirements.

Concurrent Enrollment

Students are able to take college-level courses offered in the high schools. These courses, taught by high school teachers who are mentored by NHCC faculty, allow students to earn college credit while still in high school.

Early/Middle College

Allows students who are currently enrolled in a partnered Alternative Learning Center the opportunity to earn college credit towards a high school diploma and an Associate’s degree.
