Yes! Many of our local employers are eager to meet you. But first, we will help you craft your job search tools, such as tailored resume and cover letter. Employers who are recruiting and ready to hire will post their open positions on our Handshake digital job board. Activate your Handshake account with your STAR ID, personalize your profile, and use the filters to search for in-person, hybrid and remote positions, both locally and nationally.
We have curated tools and methods to help you write a resume that is succinct and focused on your new or next career. We highly recommend following the guidance and format of our Resume Writing Guide using a plain WORD document. Performing well in an interview, whether by phone, over Zoom, or in person takes practice. Access the interview tools in our Career Services D2L Resource Site to familiarize yourself with common questions and learn from insightful videos.
