The Black Student Union is designed to unite all black students of different cultures, classes, creeds, and otherwise, with the common goal of educating themselves about their history as a whole, no matter what country of origin or citizenship. The club is committed to creating a safe space for all black students and students of color at NHCC. The group believes in critical thinking and structural conversations about current issues to stimulate the mind and spirit. They welcome all people of different races and ethnicities to help all students learn about and understand each other. Obtaining knowledge of the past enables you to fully understand your present and therefore, empowers you to create a better future.
