Getting Started
Before registering for classes in eservices, it's a good idea to meet with your academic advisor. Here's why.
Registration for summer classes is open.
If you want to take a summer class at NHCC and you currently attend a college or university within the Minnesota State system, you can register for classes within eservices.
Follow these steps:
- Log-in to eServices using your account at your current (home) Minnesota State institution.
- Select Courses & Registration, and then Search for a Course.
- In the dropdown for College/University, find North Hennepin Community College.
- Find your desired course at NHCC, and then click the Add button (plus sign) on the left.
- Follow the steps on the top - Search, Search Results & Plan, Review My Plan, and Register.
- You will receive an e-mail within 3 business days from Records & Registration with your NHCC student ID and D2L instructions.

If you're currently enrolled at the University of Minnesota or a private college, speak with your academic advisor at your institution about transferring classes from NHCC.
When you're ready, you can apply as a non-degree seeking student.

Need a class to transfer back to your school?
If you need a course that requires a pre-requisite that you have completed at your home institution, follow these steps for application to NHCC.
- Complete an online application as a non-degree seeking student.
- Look for an acceptance email within 24 hours of submission.
- Upon acceptance, submit this form with your unofficial transcript. For questions regarding the form, contact Records & Registration at 763-424-0719, or email transfer@nhcc.edu
