Our online courses are offered using D2L Brightspace learning environment, enabling online students to receive the same learning experience, as well as the same rigor and academic standard, as face-to-face courses. Like traditional face-to-face courses, no online course is exactly the same. Some incorporate the latest multi-media technology and others rely on more traditional online learning tools. Some courses require high degrees of student interaction, and others are more self-paced.
"Blended/Hybrid" Courses

"Completely Online - Asynchronous" Courses

"Completely Online - Synchronous" Courses
100% of instruction is online with no in-person meetings and no in-person proctored exams. Course has required synchronous online meetings or activities.
"Mostly Online" Courses
More than 75% of instruction is delivered online with up to two possible in-person meetings and up to four proctored exams, two of which may be administered during the in-person meetings. Proctored exams not included in the in-person meetings may be arranged locally. Courses may have online synchronous components.
"Flexible"
Flexible is a course design model that presents the components of hybrid learning in a flexible course structure that gives students the option of attending sessions in the classroom, participating online, or doing both. Students can change their mode of attendance weekly or by topic, according to need or preference. Models like Flexible, which present multiple paths through course content, may work well for courses where students arrive with varying levels of expertise or background in the subject matter. Courses built on the Flexible model help to break down the boundary between the virtual classroom and the physical one. By allowing students access to both platforms, the design encourages discussion threads to move from one platform to the other.
