North Hennepin Community College and Bemidji State University are proud to offer a convenient and affordable bachelor's degree in biology at NHCC's University Center in Brooklyn Park. This program is designed for students who want to pursue professional positions or graduate study in the biomedical sciences, wildlife, ecology, or natural resource management, and is well-suited for students planning to apply to medical, dental, pharmacy, or veterinary schools.
- This is the most affordable path to a Biology BS/BA in the metro area. 80-90 credits come from NHCC, and 30-40 from BSU. Some BSU courses are online.
- This program includes academic and career advising, as well as a semester-long course to develop essential research and communications skills that will be valuable in a wide variety of postgraduate biomedical fields or degree programs.
- Students have the option to spend a semester in Bemidji, MN, taking advantage of the BSU Biology Department’s strengths in aquatic and wildlife biology.
