Job Description

Tutoring is a rewarding experience that helps you develop leadership, deepen your knowledge, and make a positive impact on others. At the Tutoring Center, you'll refine your skills while collaborating with faculty and peers, providing one-on-one and group support in subjects you excel in.

Qualifications

The Tutoring Department is searching for applicants with:

  • Strong subject-specific knowledge and excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Reliability, a positive attitude, and a genuine desire to help peers
  • Ability to obtain a recommendation from a faculty member
  • B or higher in the subject area they wish to tutor
  • Must meet student employment eligibility requirements, including financial aid eligibility
  • Maintain a GPA of 2.75 or higher

Work Schedule
Mondays – Thursdays 9 am – 6 pm and Fridays 9 am – 3 pm. 
Holiday, spring break and summer hours may vary.

The Tutoring Center is seeking dedicated, & knowledgeable student leaders to join our team as Peer Tutors in high-demand areas, including:

  • Math Tutors (College Algebra, Calculus, Statistics, and more)
  • English/Writing Tutors (Essay Assistance, College Writing 1 & 2 and more)
