Stacy Fitzpatrick joined the Communication department at NHCC since 2010. Prior to NHCC, Stacy spent time as a research and creative design professional in the advertising industry, as a conversational English speaking partner and TOEFL tutor for non-native speakers, and as a volunteer debate coach and judge.
Research interests center on the intersections of emotion, culture, and relationships in various contexts, including in the media and in the workplace. Some current research projects look at apology narratives in social media, accessibility and representation in video games, and emotions and narrative development in fandom.
Stacy's interests include animal advocacy, reading, video games, music, podcasts, cooking, baking, traveling, and caffeinated beverages.
