I was born in Texas, but I grew up in Iowa.
I studied Math and Math Education, earning a B.A. from Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa. I earned a M.S. in Mathematics from Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa.
I taught for 3.5 years in the Denver, Colorado area before moving to Minnesota in 2000. I have been teaching at NHCC since 2001.
At NHCC, I regularly teach College Algebra, College Algebra Support, Calculus 1, Mathematical Literacy and I have also taught Pre College Algebra, Bridge to College Algebra, Precalculus, Elementary Statistics, and Calculus 2.
