Our First Year Experience course, "Effective Student Learning" is an asset for all students at no cost. It provides students with the tools. resources, and study tips to be successful in college. It addresses topics such as time management, staying motivated, navigating online learning, and provides students with information regarding all of the great services we offer to students here at North Hennepin Community College."
During this four-week course, students will learn strategies and skills, practice using online tools, discover ways to engage with their instructors, how to balance personal and academic responsibilities, and utilize short-term rewards to fulfill academic goals and maintain long-term motivation.
**Students who register for this course will receive a scholarship to cover tuition and fees.**

FYE 1021 - 91 Start date: Tuesday, August 23. End date: Tuesday, September 13. Course time: 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
FYE 1021 - 01 Start date: Thursday, August 25. End date: Thursday, September 15. Course time: 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
