Job Description | Support Career Services in the Workforce Innovation and Experiential Learning (WIEL) Center, located on the resource side of the Library (LRC 154). Our Customer Service Representative will be serving as the first point of contact for the department (in person and by phone). Welcome students, faculty, staff, employers, and community members to the area, identify their needs and direct to appropriate professional, including scheduling in-person and virtual appointments. Assist with projects and marketing events such as career fairs, career workshops, networking fairs, and web-based activities. Manage calendars for team members via Outlook. |
Qualifications | The ideal candidate will demonstrate an interest in communicating through a variety of media and methods (written, oral and visual) and working in a team setting. Additionally, the candidate must be comfortable with technology and have a willingness to learn how to navigate different software tools, create and manage documents using Microsoft Office suite and Canva, manage schedules via Outlook, and perform various data entry/record keeping duties. Work Schedule | Up to 20 hours per week, depending upon availability and class schedule. |
