The Food Cupboard is open to all NHCC students. We offer ready-to-eat and staple items. We also have supplementary items like toothpaste, shampoo, and notebooks. We can also help students access other community resources.
The Food Cupboard is located in the Campus Center, Room 225 and is open year around. Hours of operations are Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 1:30-6:00pm. Students are allowed ten items per week. A valid student identification is required.
Requests can also be made via email at FoodCupboard@nhcc.edu. The order will be filled and appointments for pick up times can be arranged Monday - Friday. Please include a contact number, your student ID and your next campus availability in your email message.

Donations can be dropped off at the Diversity and Equity Office in CBT 167. Food donations must be non-perishable. Desired items include:
Healthy boxed cereals
- Instant and regular oatmeal
- Rice (12 oz packages)
- Canned Meats ( Spam, Beef, Chicken)
- 1 liter bottles of juice
- Cereal Bars and Granola Bars
- Instant boxed dinners
We also distribute hygiene items. Needed items include:
- Body Wash
