Summary:
North Hennepin Community College, one of the largest and most diverse two-year colleges in Minnesota, is accepting applications for 1 full-time, unlimited, Medical Laboratory Technology Faculty.
 
The Medical Laboratory Department at NHCC is an engaged group of faculty interested in delivering the highest level of instruction to our students.  Faculty work as a team to consistently deliver content to students interested in pursuing their AAS in Medical Laboratory Technology. The Associate of Applied Science in Medical Laboratory Technology is designed to articulate to Saint Cloud State University B.S. in Medical Laboratory Science degree.
 
The Medical Laboratory Technology program is accredited through the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS). The pass rate was 100% on the national ASCP Board of Certification MLT examination for graduates of this program for the years 2010-2014. Summary:
This position exists to provide educational management and leadership to achieve a high standard of excellence and innovation in teaching and learning, student success, and faculty and staff professional growth in the academic areas of Business, Computer Science, Accounting, Paralegal, Computer Information Systems, Construction Management, Public Works, and Building Inspection Technology.  In addition, this position works in collaboration with departments engaged in college outreach to develop, support and promote opportunities for experiential learning, including internships, externships and service learning. The Dean provides leadership, policy development and direction in the development of programs; articulation agreements with four-year colleges and universities; collaboration with secondary education, business and industry; maintains accreditation standards in the programs; provides a positive environment for teaching and learning; gives direction and leadership for conflict resolution and advocates for students, staff and the various departments.

Education/Exercise Science/Kinesiology Faculty.
 
The Exercise Science Department at NHCC is an engaged group of faculty interested in delivering the highest level of instruction to students in the areas of fitness, personal training, and exercise science. Faculty work as a team to deliver content which assists students to complete their Associate of Science in Fitness, Associate of Science in Physical Education, and Personal Trainer Certificate. A number of articulations have been established with colleges and universities to assist students in transferring to a broad range of careers such as clinical testing, personal training, performance enhancement, sports management, physical therapy, kinesiology, cardiac rehabilitation and corporate fitness. The Exercise Science Department is seeking to add additional courses and degrees in the concentration areas of Exercise Science, Corporate Wellness and Wellness Coach.
 
As part of the department’s focus on excellence, students have the opportunity to complete the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) personal trainer certification upon completion of their coursework. Please join us as an Exercise Science Faculty member and be part of this dynamic team.

Summary:
North Hennepin Community College, one of the largest and most diverse two-year colleges in Minnesota seeks an experienced professional to serve as the Director of Admissions, Outreach and Registration, MnSCU Academic Supervisor 3 (Unclassified MMA).
The Director position supervises all aspects of the Admissions, Outreach, Information Center, Student Records and Registration departments.  The Director collaborates with the Strategic Enrollment Management (SEM) Committee on the design and implementation of a comprehensive enrollment plan for NHCC.  This individual establishes objectives, designs strategies, and implements services aligned with department and college goals.  The Director provides enrollment data analysis for key decision makers as well as maintains ongoing continuous improvement of the enrollment process. This individual works collaboratively with multiple campus Directors, staff, faculty, high schools, internal and external stakeholders such as the MnSCU system office, other colleges and universities, as well as regional, state and national professional associations.  This person has a key role in developing innovative approaches to expand access to NHCC for prospective and current students.
