NHCC Student Art Exhibition

Opening Reception on Thursday, April 7, 6-8pm
This exhibition celebrates the outstanding artwork produced throughout the academic year by NHCC students and is juried by local professional artists.

Choral Concerts

NHCC Chamber Singers and Concert Choir
Directed by Karla Miller 

Our concert theme is “Peace and Love on Broadway”. A concert of selections which promote peace, love and songs from Broadway shows such as Phantom of the Opera, Rent, Aspects of Love, Les Miserables, Hairspray and The Wiz. There
will also be several songs written during the 60's which are to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the college.  The concert will conclude with two selections which many alumni of the choral department will be joining the current singers.

Orchestra Ensemble Concerts

NHCC Orchestra Concert

The NHCC Orchestra will be featuring opera and virtuosic music in their April 25th concert at 7:30pm. Music featured will include the Haydn Trumpet Concerto, arias from Mozart operas, music from the opera Carmen and more. This will be a triumphant end to a very successful Orchestra season at NHCC.

NHCC AFA Music Student Performance

Join us for two evenings of music, presented by music students in the Associate of Fine Arts in Music degree program. Come hear our talented musicians perform as soloists on piano, strings, winds, percussion, and in song! Sasquatched! The Musical - April 8-16, 2016

Sasquatched! is the story of a gentle, dignified Arthur, a talking Sasquatch lost in the woods of the Pacific Northwest's Columbia National Park. The musical addresses issues, revolving around Sasquatch-human relations through Arthur's friendship with a boy named Sam and interactions with other humans. Written by NHCC Alumnus Phil Darg, author of more than a dozen plays and musicals, and the composer/producer of more than an estimated 200 musical works (some of which have been composed for the stage and broadcast on MTV, The History Channel, and Turner South).
