Art Exhibits

9th Annual High School Art Exhibition
February 8-February 25, 2016
Closing Reception on Thursday, February 25, 6-8pm
This exhibition celebrates the artwork of some of our area’s most talented high school students.  Paintings, drawings, prints, photography, and 3D work will be on display.  One outstanding work from each school, chosen by NHCC art faculty, will be selected for special recognition.  High schools include: Brooklyn Center, Champlin Park, Elk River, Maple Grove, Osseo, Park Center, Robbinsdale Cooper & Armstrong, Rogers, St. Michael-Albertville and Zimmerman.

Jazz Ensemble and Band Concerts

St. Louis Park Community Bank with NHCC Concert Band

Come out for an evening of great music from past to present - you'll hear everything from Concert Band standards to new works.  Both bands will take the stage individually, and then combine for an incredible musical experience that is not to be missed!  The St. Louis Park Community Band is a group of 60 dedicated musicians from all areas of the Twin Cities Metro Area, under the direction of Steven G. Lyons.  The NHCC Concert Band is directed by David Mantini.

NHCC AFA Music Student Performance

Join us for two evenings of music, presented by music students in the Associate of Fine Arts in Music degree program. Come hear our talented musicians perform as soloists on piano, strings, winds, percussion, and in song! NHCC Theatre Productions

Story Theater: An Immigrant Journey - March 2-6, 2016
Directed by Kathy Hendrickson

This devised theatre piece will be created by the ensemble cast and reflect on stories of change and sacrifice, using found text and original works.  This production will be the first to perform in the new NHCC Black Box located on the 2nd floor of the Campus Center.
