New Student Orientation
Orientation is required of ALL new students. It's FREE and provides new students with important information about NHCC's academic programs, classes and registration, campus resources, student responsibilities, and more - the essentials that help students understand and succeed in college.
It is important to complete orientation as soon as possible in order to register for classes, which tend to fill up quickly. New students cannot register for classes without first completing orientation.
Prior to orientation, new students must take the placement test or receive a placement waiver.
After registering for classes at orientation, students must bring a copy of their class schedule to the Information Desk in the ES Building to get a student identification card. Then, students can pay for tuition and buy books.
