Kay Scow

Business Computer Systems and Management Professor
Business, Technology, and Career Programs Department

Kay has taught a wide variety of classes in the Business Computer Systems and Management program at North Hennepin Community College since 1999. In addition, she was the director of technology at the college for two years. 

Prior to entering the teaching field, Kay was a financial analyst and a vice president for ten years. She was responsible for fixed income investing at Minnesota Life Insurance Company. Before that, she worked for six years as a mechanical engineer at Pillsbury Company. Kay has a broad background and brings that real world experience into the classroom. 

Kay has a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, an MBA from the University of Saint Thomas, and a master's in software systems from the University of Saint Thomas.
