Tatyana Volk

I have a Master's Degree in Computer Science, and a background in professional programming.

I have been teaching at the Minnesota Community Colleges for  twenty years, always striving to make my lessons engaging, exciting and professionally useful for the students. Learning is more effective when it is fun. You will notice that most of the student examples in the Hall of Fame site for my courses at http://tvolk.net/vc/testbed//vc/1130HOF/index.html demonstrate learning points in a clear visual manner.

My goal is to help my students to achieve technical competency and also to learn the best practices of the American workplace.

When not working, I travel world-wide, read, take photographs, dance and create ikebana flower arrangements.
