Guntis DombrovskisI am a graduate of North Hennepin Community College, and further completed Master in Business Administration degree at Metropolitan State University. I have been immersed in elearning and academic technology field for last 9 years. From 2005 till 2008 assisted Metropolitan State University faculty to build and maintaining classes offered through D2L Brightspace and assisted in development of learning objects and interactive media for course web sites. From 2008 till 2011 managed Metropolitan State University’s Center for Online Learning in the area of user support and operations. Served as Instructional Management System sites administrator (D2L Brightspace and Moodle) and evaluated, planned and recommended the installation and use of instructional software and equipment for teaching and learning in online environment to follow online learning trends and support online user needs. Since August 2011 provide leadership to overall North Hennepin Community College’s online learning and teaching efforts where serve as a Director of Online Learning. Since Fall 2012 teach Computer Basics 1000 class in face-to-face, blended/hybrid, and online environments.
