Graduation and Transfer-Out Rate

A summary of NHCC Graduation and Transfer out rates, 1996-2003 cohorts. Graduation Rate is the percentage of first time students who enrolled full-time and were seeking to earn a degree at the college. Transfer-Out Rate is the percentage of these students who did not graduate from NHCC, but instead transferred to another college or university within 3 years of initial enrollment. Graduation Statistics

Each year the college surveys recent graduates about their employment and educational plans after graduation. According to the results of our most recent  graduate follow-up survey in 2010, nearly 69% of our recent graduates continued with their education after leaving North Hennepin Community College; and 15.1% of our graduates are employed within a year of graduation, with 72% of them being employed in fields related to their degree.

IPEDS Reports

Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS) is the postsecondary education data collection program for the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES). Postsecondary education institutions submit data to NCES annually on enrollment, program completions, graduation rates, faculty, staff, finances, institutional prices and student financial aid.  IPEDS produces comparison reports that can be accessed by the public.
