Summary:
North Hennepin Community College, one of the largest and most diverse two-year colleges in Minnesota seeks an experienced professional to serve as a Financial Aid Advisor-Data Coordinator, MnSCU Academic Professional 1 (Unclassified MAPE).
 
This position assists the Director in managing all data processing aspects of NHCC’s Financial Aid Office including but not limited to:  resolving data processing technical problems, testing program and process modifications, ISRS set up, EDE set up, statistical reporting, financial/program reporting, program reconciliation, FAFSA loads, RECALC reports, Federal data base match resolution, and ISRS edit corrections. This position serves as the technical liaison between the Financial Aid Office and the appropriate IT staff (ISRS, EDE, COD, EDConnect, IT, NSLDS, etc.). This position also facilitates the initial and ongoing training staff for the Financial Aid department staff (full-time, part-time and work-study staff) in both state and federal regulations and the technology used to process financial aid. This position is also responsible for facilitating cross-departmental communication related to federal financial aid program management and process enhancements. Lastly, this position advises prospective and current students on the application process.  Meet with students, parents, and community members to promote financial aid awareness.  Participates in awarding, verification, and appeal processes.  Correspond with various government agencies as well as other duties as assigned. Participate in outreach activities.

Summary:
North Hennepin Community College, one of the largest and most diverse two-year colleges in Minnesota, is accepting applications for the Foundation Executive Director, MnSCU Administrator 4.
The Foundation Executive Director will provide the leadership, direction, and coordination for a comprehensive “friend-raising” and fundraising program that supports the mission of the college and the Foundation.  The Executive Director must build a multifaceted program that includes strategies for donor research, prospecting, and cultivation, and fundraising through individual and corporate gifts, major gifts, planned giving and the annual scholarship campaign.  The Executive Director will motivate, guide and coordinate the efforts of the Foundation Board and appropriate college staff to advance the goals of the college and the Foundation.  The Executive Director will also oversee alumni relations and scholarship programs.  This position involves significant discretion and substantial involvement in the development, interpretation and implementation of both institution and program policy.
